Daytrip recommendations from H+ Hotel Ferienpark Usedom

The island of Usedom offers a variety of fun and interesting attractions, especially for families. Marvel at the most beautiful butterflies in Europe’s largest butterfly farm in Trassenheide, for example, or spend a wonderful day at Karls Erlebnisdorf. As well as visiting the sweet factory to see how delicious sweets are manufactured on-site, you can also take some home with you.

Our reception team will happily assist you with tips and recommendations.

Karls Erlebnisdorf

There is something for everyone at Karls Erlebnisdorf: here, you can see how sweets, various strawberry jams, cocoa and bread are made in the demonstration factories.

For younger and older children there is plenty to experience: sack races, jumping cushions, petting zoos, tractor rides, treasure hunts, pony rides, bread toasting on the campfire, balancing courses across water, as well as areas for playing and working off some energy.

In the farmer’s market you will find regional products, and you can satisfy your hunger in the farm kitchen and pancake shop.

In the indoor hall, you and your children can scale the climbing wall, play darts or table-tennis, and master a climbing course. Test your racing skills against Formula 1 drivers in the moving driving simulator.

Europe’s largest butterfly farm in Trassenheide

Do you know the swallowtail butterfly, the Atlas moth, the banana skipper or the emperor butterfly? No? These are just some of the many varieties of butterflies and moths that you can find in the butterfly farm’s tropical house.

See for yourself the brilliant colours of the different butterflies and moths that fly freely in the tropical house among banana trees, hibiscus plants and orchids.

On the farm there are also parrots, giant tortoises and tanks containing tarantulas, scorpions, lizards and insects from the tropics.

Germany’s largest mini golf course

In the heart of Koserow you will find what is not only Germany’s largest but also its most creative outdoor mini golf course, which is located in a hall in Pudagla for the coldest times of the year.

The unique courses, each of which has 18 holes, have everything. Play around a small pond without sinking the ball, hit the tubes of the pneumatic post, and, with just a few strikes, outsmart the moving obstacles…or watch your ball roll into oblivion through a wall opening. In Pudagla, black light adds a particularly fun element to some parts of the course. We highly recommend that you pay the mini golf courses a visit.
